We'll Always Have New York

It doesn't happen often, but Mary Kate, Karl, and Eileen [and Nicola M.] and others can be found in the same room together this Friday night in New York City. Be there or be perpetually uncool. Or something like that. More details here: Medieval Club of New York.

One more day and I'd be there! But, alas, NYC will not see me this weekend until saturday afternoon, part of a visit to check out a Ph.D. program offer. The friday billing looks great, though.

Alas: perpetually uncool am I, since the Cohen family didn't schedule their NYC trip til March 27.

Consider this for identity, then: Eileen posted this from our guest room, and, by using by laptop, was transformed, temporarily?, to me. Or I to her.

Looking forward!!

Particularly as this is one of the few times I'll crawl out of my cave of historiographical oddities to see the real world this month...

So much to catch up on, here and everywhere else -- but more soon-ish.

Perpetually cool indeed, and the source of many other interweaving conversations. A very short response over here .
